Quality means your machines work as they should. A poor quality (often imported) strap has several things that will not make your day go very well. The largest influences on how a strapping works in the machine are:
- Camber. If you lay your strapping on the ground flat, it should go straight. If it curls to the side, you can be sure that it will get stuck on your machines guides.
- Dust. Low quality raw material cause strap to dust more. That dust will gum up all the parts in your machine, and can quickly (as in first coil) can keep critical functions from working properly.
- The right size. This seems like an easy thing to get right, but this should be the first place to check if you are having trouble.
