Now you can run a full shift and not have to change the banding!  Jumbo dispensors let  your automatic machine run longer, much longer, with out the need to change coils.  Steel strapping jumbo coils come in 3 main sizes.  The most common are 1,000 pound coils, or 2,000 pound jumbo strapping coils.  Less common are 500 pound jumbo coils.  A standard skid of 1 1/4″ steel strapping is 2,000 pounds with 20 coils of strap.  With a jumbo, you only change out one time per skid 20 TIMES LESS CHANGE OVER!

Hopefully you purchased a jumbo coil dispensor when you got your strapping machine.  If not, you can retrofit your strapping head with a jumbo dispensor.  All it takes is some PLC programming and new hardware, are  you are set.  It is a quick turn around, and can be done around your next scheduled maintenance!
